I’m Ellen, the hands and heart behind Vestige and Vixen. Thank you for joining me on this journey. My work is rooted in a love of old things, objects and materials that carry beauty, character, and history, and in giving them a second life with care and intention.

Every month, I’ll share glimpses from my studio: the process of reclaiming old chains into new jewelry, restoring vintage fabrics into modern keepsakes, and curating finds that deserve to be cherished again. Each piece is chosen or created for soul, durability, and the quiet joy it carries.

Starting Slowly:

Vestige & Vixen is on it's way, coming together slowly and surely. While the collection is still being gathered, I am currently open to a limited number of custom sewing, alterations, and heirloom work inquiries. If you have a piece that needs some love, or something you’ve been holding onto and wondering about, you're welcome to reach out. Each request is reviewed individually, and I’ll follow up personally with next steps and timing.

A Thoughtful Beginning:

As I prepare for my full launch, I’m drawing inspiration from our barn, once a working grist mill built in 1777, and the areas I've been traveling lately. No matter where you go, forgotten treasures are waiting to be found and given a new story. Nothing here is rushed, nothing is wasted. This is a rhythm of making that values memories as much as craft.
